This conscious choice of organic cotton supports traditional farming practices that enhance soil health through crop rotation and natural fertilisation, fostering biodiversity and farmer security. For bags with printed detail, Hannah uses eco-friendly ink on hand carved wooden printing blocks made in India. Each piece is waxed with natural oils including beeswax, pine resin and organic jojoba oil, made for keeping food fresh without the need for single use. As part of her circular approach, Hannah plants a tree with OneTreePlanted for every item sold, directly nurturing the ethos Peckham Cloth is founded on.
