Sharland England
Founded by fashion journalist Louise Roe, Sharland England creates beautiful pieces for the home that are made to last, embodying a philosophy of slow, meaningful design.
Each piece is inspired by a childhood growing up in the English countryside, surrounded by the warmth, tradition and nostalgia of a home furnished with antiques and warm natural-fibre pieces. Sharland England is a reimagined aesthetic founded on these childhood notions of home, drawing inspiration from vintage designs in their artisan hand-loomed and hand-embroidered linens that soften interiors and kitchen table scenes.
Her work supports local artisans and craftspeople, using the same techniques passed down over centuries that are still resonant today. Each piece carries this feeling of quality, adding a sense of luxury and timelessness to a room.
Louise Roe has worked in the fashion and lifestyle industry for over 15 years, as editor-at-large for Glamour Magazine and a writer for prestigious publications including Vogue, Elle, The Telegraph, and House & Garden magazine.
