A Victorian coin bank modelled in the form of a miniature house, dating from the second half of the nineteenth century. Constructed in wood, the pitched roof, projecting chimney and moulded plinth are decorated with parquetry and geometric inlay, with a central doorway, window and decorative panels to the façade. 

Combining miniature architecture with practical function, the piece reflects the Victorian interest in decorative domestic objects and British folk art.
