An armchair designed in 1952 by Hans Wegner and manufactured by renowned Danish cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. Model JH507 is constructed in solid, hand-carved teak and retains its original black leather seat and back.
This model differs from the more widely produced JH525 through the addition of structural stretchers and was made in limited numbers. The piece bears the Johannes Hansen cabinetmaker’s mark on the underside of the seat.
Offered in very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The frame remains unrestored.
