Janet Leach (1918–1997) was an American-born British studio potter. Initially trained as a sculptor in New York, she travelled to Japan in the early 1950s, studying under Shoji Hamada and Tatsuzo Shimaoka. In 1956 she moved to St Ives and later became associated with the Leach Pottery, where she worked alongside Bernard Leach. Her work is recognised for its direct handling of form and surface within the context of post-war British studio ceramics.
