Charlotte Salt works from her home studio in North Yorkshire and as part of the AHH Studio Collective. Using traditional hand-building techniques including coiling, slab construction, modelling and pinching, she creates sculptural forms that retain the visible marks of making. Her work draws on influences ranging from William Blake and early European tapestries to classical ceramics, exploring folklore, narrative and symbolism through textured surfaces and painterly finishes.
