New English Interiors: At Home with Today's Creatives by Elizabeth Metcalfe

£28.00

Of the many interior design trends, the enduring English style stands out. New English Interiors takes us into the homes of 22 of England's most creative individuals, featuring interiors writer Elizabeth Metcalfe and photographer Dean Hearne. This style, known for its colour, pattern, and eccentricity, continues to inspire worldwide. Key elements include wallpapers, fabrics, and carefully collected objects.

The style embraces individuality and evolves over time. The book explores the homes of creatives, from interior designers and illustrators to artists and antique dealers. Highlights include Lucinda Chambers' colourful London home and Fee Greening's earthy cottage in Dorset. Other featured homes belong to designers like Cath Kidston, Luke Edward Hall, and Duncan Campbell.

Although each interior differs, they share one common trait: they are deeply personal and always evolving. From city flats to country cottages, the book offers inspiration for anyone interested in living with vibrant colour and pattern. It's a guide to letting your personality shape your home.
