Inspired by her everyday activities- gardening, sketchbook drawing, and both wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics - Paige creates functional pieces that blend practicality with character.
The plate is bisque fired once when dry, then stamped, waxed, and coated in a glossy transparent glaze. It is then decorated using various oxides before undergoing its final glaze firing at 1230°C for durability and depth of colour.
