Circus Mug with Harlequin Pattern by Paige Mitchell
Hand-thrown in Britain by ceramicist Paige Mitchell, this stoneware mug is crafted on the wheel, with the handle attached by hand. Inspired by her everyday activities - gardening, sketchbook drawing, and both wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics - Paige creates functional pieces that blend practicality with character.
The mug undergoes an initial firing at 1000°C before being stamped, waxed, and dipped into a glossy transparent glaze. A harlequin pattern is then carefully hand-painted using cobalt oxide. Once dry, the piece is fired again at 1230°C for durability and depth of colour. Please expect slight variations in shape, height, and glaze finish.
Origin: Britain
Material: Stoneware
Dimensions: 9.5cm height × 9.5cm diameter
Care: Dishwasher and microwave safe, though hand washing is recommended for longevity.
