Paige Mitchell Small Frilled-Rim Terracotta Pot with Saucer
Hand-thrown in Norwich by ceramicist Paige Mitchell, this small terracotta plant pot and saucer feature a delicate frilled rim. Inspired by her everyday activities- gardening, sketchbook drawing, and both wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics - Paige creates functional pieces that blend practicality with character. Each pot is wheel-thrown, with a drainage hole added at the leather-hard stage, then stamped and fired once at 1080°C. The saucer is treated with a water-repellent coating after firing, though it should not be left standing in water. Due to the unglazed surface, the pot will naturally develop a patina over time. If using tap water, salt crystals may form on the surface, but can be wiped away if needed.
Origin: Britain
Material: Terracotta
Dimensions:
Pot - 12cm height × 11cm diameter
Saucer - 11cm width × 2cm depth
Care: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Frost safe up to -5°C. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
