Duncan Grant (1885–1978) was a British painter and designer associated with the Bloomsbury Group. His work played a role in introducing Post-Impressionist ideas into British art, and he worked across painting, textiles and interior design, including collaborations with Vanessa Bell at Charleston Farmhouse.
Katherine Cox, a friend of Virginia Woolf, sat for Grant on several occasions during the early 1910s.
