Toy Elephant by Kay Bojesen

£460.00

Kay Bojesen was a Danish designer celebrated for his playful yet refined wooden toys, which embody the spirit of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. His creations strike a balance between simplicity and charm, often blurring the line between object and character. Bojesen’s animals are not just decorative—they’re imbued with warmth, craftsmanship, and personality, making them enduring icons of 20th-century design. This Toy Elephant is a fine example of Bojesen’s legacy. With its rounded, sculptural form and articulated limbs, it reflects the designer’s belief that good design should engage the imagination—regardless of age. Originally conceived in the 1950s, the elephant has become one of Bojesen’s most beloved pieces. • We take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. We use trusted couriers to ensure your delivery arrives safely and smoothly.

    Costs & Delivery Times

We offer shipping for both UK and international orders. Shipping costs depend on the delivery method chosen and the destination. Delivery times are estimates and can occasionally be affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather or courier delays.

    Orders Over £500

For all orders over £500, a separate delivery quote will be required. A member of our team will be in touch after your purchase to confirm delivery arrangements and obtain your approval. A secure payment link for delivery will then be sent before your item is shipped.

    Self-Arranged Shipping

If you’d prefer to arrange your own shipping, just a note that responsibility for the item will transfer to you or your courier once it’s been collected. While we take great care in packing, Arte House can’t be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur after it leaves our care.

    Loss or Damage

If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We’ll work with you and the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

    Delays

While we do our best to dispatch your order promptly, please be aware that delivery times are estimates. If delays occur, we’ll keep you updated and assist with tracking your order or communicating with the courier as needed.

    Your Rights

Nothing in this shipping policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

For full details, please refer to our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

  • We understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 14 days of receiving it. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition with all tags and packaging intact.

    How to Return

    Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Original shipping charges, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

    Exchanges

If you'd prefer an exchange, we’ll be happy to arrange that once the returned item is inspected. If an exchange isn’t possible, we’ll issue a refund instead.
